Abstract

The future approach in formulating policies, programs, and plans has led to the development of the capabilities of states, societies, international and non-governmental organizations, economic and social institutions, and the environment in building the future and not leaving it to the unknown, and to emergencies. The qualitative development in the field of artificial intelligence added another importance to it, as there is no current human activity devoid of a future perspective, and all of this was largely reflected in the emergence of a new type of diplomacy called “preventive diplomacy”, which has become a tool that no country or international organization can , or non-governmental dispensing with it, and this led to a more focus on the uses of soft power, or smart power in international relations at the expense of the decline in the uses of hard power.The research that we present in the name of “Soft power and its impact on the tasks of preventive diplomacy is the outcome of the interaction of science, artificial intelligence, and the information and communication revolution, with the development of the tasks and performance of international diplomacy, and the diplomacy of organizations in the face of the dangerous development of sources of threat to international peace and security.
