Abstract

This study examines the dimensions of the US-China rivalry as a pivotal issue in analyzing the ongoing changes in the contemporary international system. Its significance stems from several contemporary issues that highlight the essence of the international balance of power. Practically speaking, its importance lies in analyzing the competing responses of the United States and China to international stability and the future of the global order. This paper aims to analyze the dimensions of this rivalry, identify its political, economic, and technological repercussions, and predict its potential outcomes.

This study addresses several key questions, most notably the future positions of the United States and China within the international system and the design of a new multipolar world order.

This research employs several academic methodologies, including descriptive analytical and future-oriented approaches. It comprises three main sections: first, the theoretical framework; second, the issues of conflict between the United States and the People's Republic of China; and third, the future of US-China relations. The study concludes that the world currently faces two main paths: the first is the construction of a new world order characterized by balance and stability, involving a transfer of power among influential states, including the United States and China. The second scenario is the continuation of unchecked conflict and competition, which could lead to global chaos that weakens all parties indiscriminately. Between these two paths, the decisions and strategies of the major powers will remain a crucial factor in shaping the world in the coming decades.
