OA Policy

The Mitanni Journal of Humanitarian Sciences (Mitanni J. Humanit. Sci.) provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available supports a broader global exchange of knowledge.

Open Access (OA) means unrestricted access and reuse, ensuring that research publications are freely available online. This guarantees that your work reaches the widest possible audience and that fellow researchers can easily use and share it. The mission of the Mitanni J. Humanit. Sci. is to foster a culture of scientific publications by supporting innovative research and promoting public engagement.

Articles published in the Mitanni J. Humanit. Sci. are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0, allowing authors to retain copyright while preventing commercial use of the material. Commercial use refers to any activity primarily intended for monetary gain or commercial advantage. Others may not remix, transform, or distribute modified versions of the work.

The main output of research—new ideas and knowledge—is supported by the journal’s peer-review policy, which ensures that only high-quality, peer-reviewed research is published. By providing free, online access, the Mitanni J. Humanit. Sci. maximizes the visibility and impact of research, fostering a stronger research culture and promoting good research ethics. Unrestricted access to published materials on the journal’s main website is a key part of its mission and a contribution to the global academic community.
