The Risks of Artificial Intelligence on Zakat Fund Management An Analytical Study
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the technical and Shari'a risks resulting from the use of artificial intelligence in zakat fund management. The researcher used a descriptive-analytical approach to diagnose the reality of smart applications in zakat administration, in addition to an inductive approach to examine real-life experiences in Islamic countries. The research concluded that artificial intelligence is a dual-nature tool that contributes to improving the efficiency of zakat administration. However, it carries significant risks, such as data breaches, misclassification, and the emergence of unlicensed zakat applications. The results also revealed the need for specialized human oversight to correct software deviations. This requires the rational use of technologies that balance technological empowerment with compliance with Shari'a objectives, ensuring the achievement of zakat's devotional and social objectives.
