Abstract

The research focused on studying the role of ethical leadership in organizational symmetry. The literature on these topics was reviewed. The research problem was identified by asking questions centered on the nature of the relationship and influence between ethical leadership and organizational symmetry as independent and dependent variables.  A hypothetical scheme was designed for the research and deduction of main and sub-hypotheses to achieve these hypotheses.  These hypotheses were tested using a set of statistical tests.  The research used the descriptive analytical approach to analyze the data. The research sample was selected from members of the college councils at Salahaddin University - Erbil. Forms were distributed to the respondents, and 114 valid forms were collected for analysis out of 120 questionnaires.  SPSS V.26 was used to study the hypothesized relationships in the research model.  The research reached several conclusions, including the existence of positive relationships with high statistical significance between ethical leadership and organizational symmetry at the macro and micro levels. This confirms the importance of ethical leadership and its contribution to promoting organizational uniformity in the colleges under study.  Based on the results, the research presented a set of proposals, including the need to focus on the role of ethical leadership in building employee confidence and enhancing organizational loyalty, and ensuring that this trust and loyalty translates into achieving better alignment for the organization.
