Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between cyberbullying in social networks and self-consciousness, to determine the differences between them according to gender, educational level and educational specialty The sample of the study was 647 male and female students, who were randomly selected from the appropriate class. The tools used were the researcher's self-prepared cyberbullying scale and the self-awareness scale (Al-Qara Ghouli, 2010). The most important statistical tools used are (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Anova, Person, T-Test). the existence of statistically documented differences in the level of cyberbullying by gender in favor of females; lack of statistically documented differences in levels of cyberbullying by educational attainment variable; lack of statistically documented differences in levels of cyberbullying perpetration by study major variable; The level of self-awareness among the students of Koya University is high; lack of statistically documented differences in level of self-awareness by gender variable; lack of statistically documented differences in level of self-awareness by educational attainment variable; lack of statistically documented differences in level of self-awareness by study specialization variable; There is a weak direct relationship between cyberbullying and self-awareness among Koya University students.
