Criteria for Constructive Thinking Among Students of Art Departments in Sulaimani University

Abstract
The research aim is to measure synthetic thinking among students of art departments at Suleimani University. This measurement takes place regarding the variety of gender (male-female) and the differences in the department’s policy (students from the college of fine arts – students from the College of Basic Education/ part of arts education). In terms of research methodology, the descriptive method is considered, in order to describe the situations and phenomenon and answer what, where, when, and how questions. The research content is about synthetic thinking in an individual’s capability that leads him/her toward creative thinking. The research sample is dedicated to students’ synthetic thinking from stages: third and fourth, college of fine arts - plastic arts and college of basic education, year (2022-2023). The capacity sample consists of (40) students from both genders. The researcher considers the (survey) among experts from psychology and teaching methods. Here, the synthetic thinking is going to be established via the external and internal validity and it is stabilized in relations to student’s examination.
