Abstract

The Saudi-Turkish relations undergone several historical stages that greatly affected the political system in both countries. In addition, it affected the countries that have mutual relations with Saudi Arabia and Turkey. The two countries were able to form centers of power and polarization at the same time on the ground of historical, geographical, national, or interest-related justifications This matter does not exceed only the influence that two countries impose on other countries in the region, but there are factors that affect the course of that relationship. In general, that relationship can be described as unstable and tense, and there are several reasons behind this description. The factors affecting the building and endurance of that relationship are offset in turn by other factors. It  that lead to its instability, and it can also be described as facing stages of a hidden struggle that cast a delusion on the stances of both Saudi Arabia and Turkey on the fateful issues that the region is going through in general. The study of the factors affecting Saudi Arabia and Turkey undoubtedly leads to an analysis of the logical roots to examine the reasons for the formation and development of that relationship, whether towards the advancement of the consolidation of ties between the two countries or their regression and their transformation into a strong conflict and competition between them, so that interests converge at times and intersect at other times.
